Your interest in confidentiality takes second place. Without the processing of personal data, it is not technically possible to provide the website. This also applies to its operation and security. Securing the website also serves your interests. We store your personal data for as long as is necessary for you to access this website.

In addition to the aforementioned data, technically necessary and, optionally, technically unnecessary cookies are stored on your computer if you give your consent. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie (here, by us). The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

5. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you consent to us regularly sending our newsletter or similar information to the e-mail address you provide. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).

This transfer takes place in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using an effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address) is stored on CleverReach's servers in Germany and Ireland. You can find CleverReach's privacy policy at: Privacy Policy - CleverReach

6. Use of cookies, tracking tools and third-party services on our website

6.1 Web analysis with Google Analytics
We use "Google Analytics" on our website, a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), provided you have given your consent. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies"; these are text files that are stored on your end device and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by a cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, by activating IP anonymization, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the European Economic Area (European Union and other member states). Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can find more information on terms of use and data protection at: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/

In general, you can also prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the collection of your data on future visits to this website. The recipient of the data collected is Google.
Google processes your personal data in the USA in accordance with the data protection laws applicable there. We cannot currently guarantee that Google will apply a data protection standard equivalent to ours when processing your data. Therefore, if you consent to the use of Google Analytics, your consent also includes the processing of your data in the USA in accordance with the regulations applicable there. We have concluded a corresponding contract with Google for order processing and the applicable standard contractual clauses. We store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the use of Google Analytics in connection with your respective visit to our website.

6.2 Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager is a tool that enables us to integrate tracking or statistical tools and other technologies on our website. The Google Tag Manager itself does not create any user profiles, does not store any cookies and does not carry out any independent analyses. It is only used to manage and display the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager records your IP address, which may also be transmitted to Google's parent company in the United States. The Google Tag Manager is used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the fast and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

6.3 Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Ads enables us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms into Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on the user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively by analyzing, for example, which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks. The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks

and privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

6.4 Google Ads Remarketing
This website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign people who interact with our online offer to specific target groups in order to subsequently display interest-based advertising in the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting). Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked to Google's cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one device (e.g. cell phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC). If you have a Google account, you can object to personalized advertising at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/. The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Further information and the data protection provisions can be found in Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.

6.5 Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. With the help of Google conversion tracking, Google and we can recognize whether the user has carried out certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked how often and which products were viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We find out the total number of users who have clicked on our ads and what actions they have taken. We do not receive any information with which we can personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification purposes. The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. You can find more information about Google Conversion Tracking in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de. You can consent to the storage of cookies by giving your consent in the cookie consent banner. The legal basis is accordingly Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by a cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

7. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to request information about your personal data that we process at any time. If your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to rectification and completion. You can request the deletion of your personal data at any time, unless we are legally obliged or entitled to continue processing your data. If the legal requirements are met, you can request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time if you are of the opinion that data processing has taken place in breach of applicable law.

If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw it at any time. Such a revocation affects the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have given it to us.

Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests, you can object to the processing. This is the case if, in particular, the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, which is described by us in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. In the event of your justified objection, we will examine the situation and will either discontinue or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling reasons worthy of protection on the basis of which we will continue the processing.
With regard to the processing of your personal data described in this privacy policy, you can exercise the above-mentioned rights by sending an e-mail to our data protection officer or by post to the address given above.

8. Existence of automated decision-making, including profiling

Automated decision-making/profiling does not take place on this website.

9. Applicant data

You can send us your application documents via our online application platform, by e-mail or by post.

Your data required for establishing contact and the application process will be stored for the purpose of carrying out an application procedure in compliance with the statutory provisions. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR and § 26 para. 1 in conjunction with. para. 8 sentence 2 BDSG (implementation of pre-contractual measures).
In principle, we collect this data directly from you. In addition, if this is necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship, we process personal data that we obtain from publicly accessible sources (e.g. professional networks on the Internet) in a permissible manner. We may also have received
data from third parties (e.g. headhunters).

We may process the following categories of personal data in the application process:
Personal master data (in particular first and last name, title if applicable)
Contact information (address, telephone or mobile phone number, private e-mail address)
Application data (qualification-related information, in particular academic achievements and other information contained in the CV, including information on prizes and scholarships and extracurricular achievements, information on dissertation projects, information on education and professional experience, copies of certificates and diplomas;
if applicable, photos attached to an application; if applicable, information on (possibly only planned or hoped-for) future educational and other career steps as well as professional focus areas.
photos attached to an application;
if applicable, information on (possibly only planned or hoped for) future educational and other career steps as well as professional specializations and interests)

Internally, your personal data is forwarded to the responsible managing directors and employees who make the decisions. Our central Serafin HR department supports SAMDE to some extent in carrying out the recruiting and applicant process as a service provider. It remains the data controller under data protection law.

Your personal data will generally be deleted automatically six months after completion of the respective application process. This does not apply if statutory provisions prevent deletion, if further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or if you have expressly consented to longer storage.

In the event of recruitment, the data will be transferred to the personnel file. Information on the storage period can be found in the information on the processing of personal data of our employees.

Storage for future job advertisements
If we are unable to offer you a current vacancy but, based on your profile, we believe that your application may be of interest for future vacancies, we would like to continue processing your data after the application process has been completed in order to draw your attention to other vacancies that match your profile. The
prerequisite for processing is that you give us your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The non-granting or revocation of this consent has no influence on the application process. Without your consent, however, we will unfortunately not be able to contact you for future vacancies.

Obligation to provide your personal data The
provision of data is not required by law or contract. You are not obliged to provide the data. However, if you do not provide the data, it will not be possible to carry out an application procedure and, if applicable, recruitment.

10. Use of social media plug-ins

This website uses so-called "social plug-ins" of the social networks LinkedIn, which are operated by the

LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland

are operated. The website uses the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the logo. We give you the option of communicating directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned under point 4.1 of this declaration is transmitted. In the case of LinkedIn, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is therefore transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA).

LinkedIn Analytics and LinkedIn Ads
We use the conversion tracking technology and the retargeting function of the LinkedIn Corporation
on our website. With the help of this technology, visitors to this website can be shown personalized advertisements on LinkedIn. Furthermore, it is possible to create anonymous reports on the performance of the advertisements and information on website interaction. For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight tag is integrated on this website, which establishes a connection to the LinkedIn server if you visit this website and are logged into your LinkedIn account at the same time. In LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy you will find further information on data collection and data use as well as the options and rights to protect your privacy. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, you can deactivate data collection at any time by clicking on the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/enhanced-advertising

We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to display needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. We offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users via the plug-ins so that we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

Data is passed on regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected by us will be assigned directly to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. We recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as this way you can avoid being assigned to your profile with the plug-in provider.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the data protection declarations of these providers provided below. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy.
